Lately you often can meet a situation of  ” Design by myself”. when clients have access to lot of interior design information through specialized magazines, internet articles  and TV programs. It might become tempting to self create the desired  interior design of the space since  everything  seems “very simple” and “easy” . Shortly after people become overwhelmed by the large amount of information and start to realize that most of the available ideas are not suitable to their personal needs in style and shape and will not address their customized requirements. Sometimes, clients decide to still do design by themselves and often end up purchasing many inappropriate items that they will not use. 

Most often, after spending a lot of time and money , clients realize that they need help from professional designers to achieve their goals with most cost efficient solutions. 

Our consultation service is the early stage and an important phase of the design project. During this phase the designer and client discuss in details the project  requirements, client’s needs and preferences and the final desired outcome.  Upon completion of the consultancy phase, the client will be in s good and informed position to decide on how to move forward.  Clients might decide to progress with next phases on their own or continue utilizing interior design professional services. 

Some of the key activities during the consultation phase include: 

• discuss  client’s specific requirements and what is driving the need for design. 
• better understand clients preferences and aspirations and help clients prioritize their needs. 
• exploration of design ideas , possible solutions and space layout recommendations. 
• discuss  project cost estimates and implementation timelines. 
• find cost efficient ways to achieve desired goals. 

Usually the consulting effort takes place at the client’s on site location. The length and scope of the consultation depends on the project scale and complexity of the intended  work. After the consulting engagement is complete, clients will be much better prepared  to progress with the design and implementation phases of the project.
